SAIF AL YAZIDI

Founder

Saif Al Yazidi is the founder of Horizons Business consultancy. He is an experienced Omani with over 21 years of experience in the field of Investment and business. Saif held the Position of Chief Investment Officer and Member of the Investment Committee at the Civil Service Pension Fund, one of the largest Pension funds in Oman. He was in charge of the Pension fund’s multi billions Investment portfolio covering wide range of assets such as Equities, fixed income, Private Equities and Real estate.

During Saif’s extensive career at CSEPF he represented the Pension Fund in the boards of several large SAOG and SAOC companies in different market sectors, locally and abroad. He also participated in several start up projects in the country and involved in some major mergers & acquisitions, businesses process engineering and strategic restructuring projects in various fields.

Samia Al Yazidi is a partner in Horizons Business Consultancy since establishment in 2019. She previously headed the Budget Planning and Projects at the Public Authority of Civil Aviation in Oman. Alongside her duties she was also appointed as a member of the Technical Committee for the multi billions international airports of Muscat and Salalah from 2012 to 2018 where she played a major role in liaising and communicating with the project manager and contractors to ensure a successful completion ad handover of the projects.

Prior to Samia’s position in PACA she started her career at the Ministry of Transportations and  Communications from 1994 to 2011 in the field of accounting, Auditing, and budget planning, dealing with major infrastructure projects in the country.

Ubaid Cheema

Partner and Managing Director

Ubaid Cheema is a Partner and the Managing Director at HBC Business Consultancy. He is a Certified Charted account (ACCA) and has an extensive experience working with reputable Charted Accounts Firms in the past. He has a wealth of experience in strategy development and business transformation across various industries.

Ubaid works with HBC clients to identify areas of opportunities and create action plans to improve their business. He also customs his areas of expertise to train, onsite support, and guide HBC clients to achieve their business objectives. 

Sami Al Zadjali

Head of Corporate Advisory

Sami is the Head of Corporate Advisory at HBC, bringing his extensive experience and knowledge in the field of business process Re-engineering, policies, procedures, manuals and systems implementation to advise and mentor HBC’ SMEs clints. He holds a B.A. Degree in Accounting and High Diploma in Social Insurance.

Sami has over 20 years of experience. He started his career in the Investment & Income Department at the Civil Service Employees Pension Fund before he was appointed as the Head of Contributions Department, in charge of three major division heads within CSEPF. He also led several projects at CSEPF working closely with the Big Four consultants in Oman. Sami was also a focal point between CSEPF and almost all government entities and other GCC pension funds in relation to pension funds matters.

In addition to Sami’s role at CSEPF, he also sat in several boards and committees of a major SAOG companies listed in Muscat Stock Exchange. 


Muhammad Zubair Aslam

Audit Supervisor

Muhammad Zubair Aslam is an Audit Supervisor at HBC. He is a Certified Charted Accountant (ACCA), With 5 years of experience in the field of auditing, accounting and tax consultancy.

At HBC, we take great pride in our team of highly skilled and experienced professionals. Muhammad Zubair brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our firm. He has developed a deep understanding of various industries and regulations. His commitment to excellence and attention to detail make him an invaluable asset to both our clients and our team.

Muhannad Al Raba'ni

Client Relationship Executive

Muhannad is a young talented Omani with a tremendous passion in the field of accountancy and business.  He is B.A graduate with Honors in Accountancy & Business Studies. Prior joining HBC, Munnad took several part times job, where he gained several skills in customer service, IT, and HR.

Muhanad chose to join and grow with the family of HBC as a  client Relationship Manager with an aim to take part of the consultancy team in the future.
